The Department of Electronic and Control Technologies Engineering and the Department of Surveying Technologies Engineering at the Technical Engineering College of Kirkuk held discussions of graduation projects for graduate students.
During which the students’ projects that touched on various designs were discussed and presented to complete the final episodes to complete the graduation requirements, as the importance of these projects lies in linking the theoretical part with practical practice after graduation.
Dr. Muntazar Aidi Sharif, Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, stated that graduation projects are defined by specific areas and topics. The topics are usually chosen either by teachers or students according to a set of controls and factors, including the extent of the need for the project so that it has a kind of objective character that affects a specific reality or keeps pace with it. Developments in the contemporary world, taking care not to repeat the topics in the following years
The project begins with two parts, the theoretical side, which is the preparation of an integrated program for this project, in which it defines the components and areas of the project
The practical aspect is to present designs, plans and sections of the project through several stages and the results that have been reached.
The project is discussed by a committee of the department’s professors to discuss the graduation projects submitted by the students of the department, as this project is considered one of the largest projects presented by the student during his academic life.
