The Kirkuk Technical Engineering College held a specialized scientific seminar on sustainability in modern road design, aiming to enhance the scientific and applied aspects of road engineering.
This seminar is part of the Northern Technical University’s commitment to supporting specialized scientific courses and promoting sustainability concepts in road design according to modern engineering standards.
The lecture was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Othman Hassan, who reviewed advanced concepts of sustainability in road design. He emphasized the importance of adopting life-cycle design methodologies, using sustainable materials, and employing modern technologies and smart methods to improve the environmental and economic performance of road networks.
