The Diwan Division of Technical Engineering College Kirkuk organized a wide-ranging campaign within the college’s arouqa and gardens, as part of the efforts to promote green spaces and spread environmental awareness, aligning with national guidelines to preserve the environment and improve the environmental reality within educational institutions.

The campaign was held in the presence of the Administrative Assistant, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Nizar, who, during his follow-up on the deforestation work, emphasized the importance of these environmental initiatives in creating a healthy and sustainable university environment, emphasizing the need to continue implementing such activities that contribute to improving the aesthetic landscape and fostering a culture of environmental interest among stakeholders and students.

The campaign was also attended by the Human Resource Division Officer Mr. Abbas Ali Hussein, who praised the spirit of cooperation and teamwork between the people and different units, it is certain that the recruitment campaigns represent a joint responsibility and reflect positively on the university working environment.

This campaign came in collaboration with the governmental media and communication department.

The campaign included planting a number of locally suitable trees and plants, in a number of locations within the College, amid active participation from College staff, in a move that reflects growing interest in the environment and solidifies the concepts of sustainability and community responsibility.
