The Rehabilitation, Recruitment and Follow-up Unit at the Technical College of Engineering – Kirkuk, in cooperation with the Department of Power Mechanical Technologies, held a workshop entitled:
“Digital Transformation in Institutions”
The workshop was presented by both Ms. Fatima Najaf Ahmed, and lecturer M.M. Ayesha Gul Shaheen Najmuddin, Incharge of Rehabilitation, Recruitment and Follow-up Unit.
The workshop aimed to introduce participants to the concept of digital transformation and its importance in developing enterprise performance and improving the quality of services provided, highlighting the most prominent modern technologies used in the field.
The workshop addressed the importance of digital transformation as an essential step towards developing enterprise efficiency, accelerating business completion, and reducing errors, as well as its role in supporting precise decision-making through data analysis, and promoting innovation and competitiveness in the modern work environment.
The workshop definitely concluded on the necessity of embracing digital transformation as a strategic pathway to develop institutions and improve performance, calling for continuation of such workshops aimed at raising technical awareness and strengthening university staff’s readiness for future demands.
Thanks were also given to the student participants for their interaction and contribution to the success of the workshop, hence contributed to the development of their scientific and practical skills.
This workshop comes as part of a series of scientific and development activities organized by the Northern Technical University, which seeks to consolidate modern technical education concepts and bolster its pioneering role in meeting the demands of digital transformation and innovation in higher education institutions.
