Within the requirements of sustainable development and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Engineering Technology, Kirkuk, Assistant Professor Dr. Sami Reda Islan, the Head of the Department of Environmental Engineering Technologies, Dr. Qahtan Adnan, and a number of professors and technicians.
The Department of Environmental Engineering Technologies organized a large afforestation campaign, a continuation of the campaign launched by the President of the Northern Technical University, the Million Tree Campaign launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and within the requirements of sustainable development to make our university green, and in coordination with the Agriculture Unit, various types of roses and trees were planted, where the beautiful view gives Inspiring the cleanliness of the university environment, achieving the goals of reducing environmental pollution, and making our Northern Technical University a symbol of distinction and sophistication
