Program Educational Objectives (PEOs):
To equip students with fundamental scientific and engineering concepts, enabling them to integrate into engineering work environments and keep pace with advancements in electronics and control engineering.
To establish scientific partnerships with similar departments and research centers within and outside Iraq, enhancing the educational experience for students and faculty members with the latest engineering and technological advancements.
To work towards achieving national accreditation according to the standards set by the Ministry of Higher Education.
To digitize administrative and academic processes within the department and enhance communication with administrative units within the college.
To provide graduates with the necessary skills and knowledge to enter the local and global job market.
To work towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals in the fields of electronics and control engineering.
To promote scientific research in electronics, control, and related fields.
Student Learning Outcomes (SOs):
Outcome 1: Knowledge and Understanding
• Electronics: To possess basic and advanced knowledge of electronic circuits, devices, and systems.
• Control Systems: To design, analyze, and implement control systems for automation and industrial applications. • Microcontrollers and Embedded Systems: The ability to program and develop embedded systems using microcontrollers.
• Signal Processing: Application of signal filtering, modulation, demodulation, and noise reduction techniques.
Communication Systems: Understanding of the fundamental principles and techniques of modern communication systems.
Output 2: Communication Skills
• Graduates possess the ability to communicate technical information effectively, both orally and in writing.
Output 3: Practical Skills
• Through laboratory and field studies, students gain direct practical experience working with electronic components and systems, enhancing their applied engineering skills.
