The Department of Power Mechanics Technology hosted a workshop entitled:
“Digital transformation in organizations”
The workshop was presented by Ms. Fatima Najaf Ahmed, and the lecturer M.M. Aisha Gul Shaheen Najmuddin, Head of the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Unit.
The workshop aimed to introduce participants to the concept of digital transformation and its importance in developing the performance of institutions and improving the quality of services provided, as well as highlighting the most prominent modern technologies used in this field.
The workshop addressed the importance of digital transformation as an essential step towards developing the efficiency of institutions, accelerating business completion and reducing errors, in addition to its role in supporting accurate decision-making through data analysis, and enhancing innovation and competitiveness in the modern work environment.
The workshop concluded by emphasizing the necessity of adopting digital transformation as a strategic path to develop institutions and improve their performance, while calling for the continuation of holding such workshops aimed at raising technical awareness and enhancing the readiness of university cadres for the requirements of the future.
The student participants were also thanked for their interaction and contribution to the success of the workshop, as this had an impact on developing their scientific and practical skills.
This workshop comes within a series of scientific and development activities organized by the Northern Technical University, in an effort to consolidate the concepts of modern technical education and enhance its pioneering role in keeping pace with the requirements of digital transformation and innovation in higher education institutions.
