About the college:
Kirkuk Technical Engineering College is one of the formations of the Northern Technical University. It was founded in 1998 in Kirkuk Governorate under the name Kirkuk Technical College. At the time, it comprised four scientific departments for morning and evening classes. The name was later changed to Kirkuk Technical Engineering College following the establishment of the Kirkuk Medical and Health College and the transfer of the Medical Laboratory Technology Department. Consequently, all departments within Kirkuk Technical Engineering College are now engineering departments.
Kirkuk Technical Engineering College is one of the tributaries of technical education, through which new strategies are formulated in the field of various technical engineering specializations. This is to prepare the necessary personnel to meet the needs of the labor market in light of modern technical data and to provide high-quality outputs. The college includes a laboratory unit for training students on machinery and workshop equipment. The Kirkuk Technical College of Engineering is the first college established in Kirkuk. The college currently includes the following departments:
1. Department of Computer Engineering Technology
2. Department of Mechanical Power Engineering Technology
3. Department of Environmental and Pollution Engineering Technology
4. Department of Surveying Engineering Technology
5. Department of Electronics and Control Engineering Technology
6. Department of Architecture and Construction Engineering Technology
7. Department of Medical Devices Engineering Technology
The Kirkuk Technical College of Engineering also offers postgraduate studies, including doctoral, master’s, and higher diploma degrees.
At the end of each year, the college celebrates the graduation of a new batch of its dear students.
If you are looking for a bright and prosperous future, then your path should be to the Kirkuk Technical College of Engineering.
