The Engineering Technical College Kirkuk held an awareness seminar entitled:
“There is power in awareness… And the hope is in healing”
This is part of the events of November 1, world breast cancer awareness month.
The seminar was presented by Dr. Assain Hussain Muhammad (Gynecology and Obstetrics) in her lecture, where she discussed the importance of early detection of breast cancer, and highlighted the impact of health awareness in early prevention and treatment to achieve a high recovery rate, emphasizing that health education is the first line of defense against disease.
The seminar witnessed the presence of faculty affiliates from various scientific departments, people and units, who expressed their appreciation for such awareness initiatives that contribute to spreading health culture and promoting community awareness.
This seminar embodies Northern Technical University’s interest in spreading health awareness among its employees, and in its ongoing efforts to promote its societal and humanitarian role by organizing educational events aimed at building a conscious university community with an advanced health and preventive culture.
