The symposium dealt with

A general definition of sustainability and highlighted the three dimensions of sustainable development according to the United Nations and the role of technology and innovation in sustainable development and the latest sustainable technologies in the fields of renewable energy, smart cities, waste management, and sustainable agriculture and analyzing the most prominent global environmental problems such as climate change, pollution, and depletion of natural resources.
The symposium included

Discussing innovative solutions to address them and presenting case studies of successful projects that rely on technology to enhance sustainability and encourage individuals and institutions to adopt sustainable practices based on technology, and enhancing partnerships between the public and private sectors to support green solutions.

The aim of this symposium

is to raise awareness of the role of innovation and technology in achieving sustainable development, by reviewing modern solutions and advanced technologies that contribute to protecting the environment and reducing the environmental impact of human activities, as well as clarifying the relationship between innovation and sustainable development and their role in addressing environmental challenges.
